a moment for mom

Sometimes, the only way to get a little peace and quiet to yourself, is to stay up after everyone has gone to bed. People often ask me how I get everything done- the answer... I don't! I do what I can and except the fact that not everything is going to get finished everyday. That's life. Here it is 1am and I'm just now finding time to sit, reflect, and think.

I try to conquer it all, but I know everything will fall into place when the time is right. I know, I know, easier said then done! Don't worry, there are days I feel so overwhelmed and stressed because the house isn't clean, the paperwork is a mile high, the shop needs tended to, emails need responses, and the kids are throwing tantrums left and right, but I try to take a deep breath and remind myself that everything must come to an end, including the day! :)

a little about Jenny...

This is the place we call home! We are so lucky to live at the beach! It is truly a blessing, and I'm thankful everyday for it. It is also a great place for us to find amazing supplies for ish. You never know what you'll come across during a long walk on the beach, especially after a storm! I couldn't imagine raising our family anywhere, but next to the water!

This is my son, Izaiah Joseph. He just turned 2!! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone by, nor how much he has taught my husband and I about the true meaning of life. He is such a fun, lovable and awesome little boy, not to mention an amazing big brother!!

This little beauty is my daughter, Seaira Leigh, who just joined our family in September. She is such a great baby- so content, sweet and happy, and what a trooper!! We were in the beginning stages of ish when I found out we were expecting, and that point there was no turning back. She was right there with me during endless hours of work, HUGE events, the build out of ish, and a long hot summer.  One day she will know how grateful I am for being so good!
 
I've attempted to upload a picture of my husband and I several times now, but blogger is "experiencing difficulties," so on that note, I'll quit for the moment. This is just a quick glance of my life...so, it's nice to meet ya, can't wait to share more! ;)
